A pseudo-medical term of Latin origin, denoting a weakness with hidden strength—a condition of powerful powerlessness.

A symbolic progression, described as heartbeats extending from the alphabetical beginning (A) to the end (Z), representing a complete emotional and narrative cycle reflected in the French context.

In early 2021, I experienced a panic attack. My body and mind being weak, I felt strong palpitations and overwhelming emotions, especially anxiety. This moment of fragility coincided with an emerging sense of power in the background. This experience challenged the relationship between weakness and strength. That is why the project Potimpotentia aims to evoke emotions in the viewer that transcend them, with the purpose of awakening a sense of their own power, particularly in those who are perceived as weak and who perceive themselves as such. It is an invisible, unsuspected power, yet so precious.

To construct a narrative from A to Z based on this personal experience, emphasizing emotions and affect, I propose a multisensory artistic direction and a transmedia communication approach within the fashion industry. The interconnection of all elements is a key concept; everything is interconnected, and everything transforms into each other, just like the interplay of weakness and strength in this experience.
